The Merge Status bar appears at the bottom of the Merge Main Window. It gives information about the image:
1. Mouse. The Mouse display shows the pixel position of the mouse cursor.
2. Size. This item shows the size of the current image. Since the program can Auto-Size the image the Size display is useful for keeping track of the size of the image.
Images larger than about 5,000 x 5,000 use very large amounts of memory and can cause problems on some computers. This is particularly true when you accumulate lots of undo/redo images while making changes. For example, if you make 100 changes to a 5,000 x 5,000, the program may have to store 9-gigabytes of data.
