Avoiding Duplicate Surveys

Since it is important to have unique survey names in Compass, the Editor will check survey names whenever you create a new survey. The Editor will warn you if you try to save a file with duplicate survey names. You have several options:

1. Cancel. This option simply cancels saving the file. You can then do things like renaming the survey or saving the survey in a separate file.

2. Select OK. Selecting the OK button causes the Editor to save the file even though it contains duplicate surveys. You can still rename the surveys in the newly saved filed.
