Printing Surveys

Sometimes it is useful to have a hard copy of the survey data. You can print the current survey by selecting the "File|Print" option from the menu bar. The survey will be printed using the sequence and units that are currently selected. Currently, the surveys are printed using a nine point fixed system font. This makes it easy to align columns of digits on the page.

Printing To A File. You can also print the survey to a file. Since the data is printed with the same units and format as the Editor displays the data, this option allows you to create text files with virtually any format. These files can then be incorporated into another document or even published on the Internet. To print to a file, check the box labeled "Print To File" in print window. The program then will present you with the standard Windows file-saving window. You simply select the name of the file you wish to save the printout to.
