Exclusions

The "Exclusions" tab allows you to exclude certain shots from the graphs based on specific attributes. Here is a detailed description of each attribute:

1. Azimuth. Enabling this option allows you to exclude a range of azimuths from all the graphs. For example,if you set the Minimum to 45 and the Maximum to 90, all shots whose azimuths fall in that range will be excluded from the graphs. You can also exclude ranges that cross zero. For example if you set the Minimum to 350 and the Maximum to 10, the program will exclude any shot that is between 350 and 350 or between 0 and 10.

2. Inclination. Enabling this option allows you to exclude a range of inclinations from all the graphs. For example, if you set the Minimum to 45 and the Maximum to 90, all shots whose inclinations fall in that range will be excluded from the graphs. In the case of Inclinations, the sign of value is ignored since the sign only indicates the direction you are facing. As a result, an exclusion of 10 to 20 degrees also excludes -10 to -20 degrees.

3. Depth. Enabling this option allows you to exclude a range of depths from all the graphs. For example, if you set the Minimum to 100 and the Maximum to 200, all shots whose depths fall in that range will be excluded from the graphs.

4. Shot Flags. These options allow you to exclude shots that have the Length (L), Plot (P), Total (X) or Closure (C) flags set. This prevents shots that over represent passage trends from contributing to the analysis.
