One of the issues with UTM coordinates is that north does not always point to the North Pole or True North. This is because the UTM Grid is flat whereas the earth spherical. The UTM Convergence option allows you to correct for this problem. You can enter your own angle using your own calculations or use the Geo-Calculator to do if for you.
