If you are working with a complex or a multi-level cave, you often need to separate out different shots, passage or levels. You can do this manually by selecting individual Sections, Surveys and Shots, one at a time until you have just passages you need. However this can be very tedious.
To solve this problem, the Exporter has a special tool that allows you to automatically select shots the fall within a certain depth or position in the cave. For example, you automatically check shots that fall between 100 and 150 feet of depth. You can also automatically select surveys based on the date the survey was surveyed. To use this tool, select the "Tools -> Shot Select" option from the menu bar.
