Status information is displayed at the bottom of the program window.
Position Information. The top status bar shows mouse position information. As you move your mouse cursor across the Map Display, the position of the cursor will be displayed on the status bar at the bottom the screen. Here is a complete description of each status item:
Mouse. This item shows the X/Y coordinates of the mouse curser in pixels.
Paper. This item shows the X/Y coordinates of the mouse cursor in inches or millimeters, depending on which units you are using. The coordinates are relative to the edge of the paper, not the inner margin.
Cave. This item shows the X/Y coordinates of the mouse cursor in cave coordinates, in feet or meters depending on which units you are using.
Relative Coordinates. If the "Relative Coordinates" check box is enabled, the coordinates that are displayed will be relative to the first station in the cave. If the checkbox is disabled, the coordinates will be relative to the coordinates used when the cave was compiled. If, for example, the cave was geo-referenced to the UTM or Longitude/Latitude coordinates of the cave, the values will be the actual, real-world coordinates.
Bottom Status Bar. The bottom status bar displays the progress information when loading, exporting or performing the merge/morph process. |
